The Dutch coast guard saved 38 migrants, including six minors, from a rubber boat found floating off the Dutch coast. Two individuals are suspected of illegal trafficking. Additionally, 1600 migrants have recently reached the UK coast, and Greek authorities have rescued nearly 100 migrants off Crete. The Dutch coast guard continues to assist in saving migrants, however the situation at the UK coast is concerning. Greek authorities have also been engaged in saving migrants, highlighting the difficult conditions faced by migrants. The Dutch coast guard has been work with international partners to address the issue of illegal trafficking. The recent rescues demonstrate the persistent need for joint efforts to address the complex issue of migrant smuggling.
