Laika Studios' stop-motion film 'Wildwood' was met with positive feedback, but the studio had a tough weekend at the box office. The movie, directed by Travis Knight, took over a decade to produce, was called a exceptional creation. Even with positive reviews, Laika struggled to convert criticism into sales. The film was a success in its animation, but its commercial performance was not great.
