Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will shut their doors after administrators could not find buyers for the sites. Seven of the affected centres are in Queensland. The closures follow the collapse of the childcare provider, which has left families rushing to find alternative care arrangements.
Administrators were able to offload some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 received no bids. Parents have been given minimal notice to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown moves ahead.
