Crimson Desert's new DLC, Charting the Unknown, has launched with mixed reviews. The expansion introduces additional content but not always enhanced quality. The game has also transitioned to free-to-play to celebrate the DLC. Technical issues, including glitches on AMD PCs, have been addressed with patches. The expansion's design has been similar to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
